Criterium Ranked among Top 500 Design Firms by ENR
May 2007 – Criterium Engineers, building consulting engineers, was recently ranked number 436 on the list of Top 500 Design Firms identified by the Engineering News Record (ENR) in its annual survey of gross billings for the previous year.
Criterium, headquartered in Portland, Maine, is unique among the firms on the list in that it consists of more than 70 local consulting franchises—including Criterium-Lockatong Engineers in Rosemont, N.J.—that serve defined geographic areas across the United States and Canada.
Criterium Engineers' ranking, up from 476 last year, reflects gross billings in 2006 of over $21 million. ENR is one of the leading professional engineering magazines, with a circulation in excess of 71,000 and readership of about 284,000.

Tricia L. Romano Receives Engineer of the Year Award
Presented by Criterium Engineers at Anniversary Conference
September 2007 – Criterium-Lockatong Engineers' Tricia L. Romano, P.E., was recently named Criterium Engineers' 2007 Engineer of the Year at the national organization's 50th Anniversary Conference in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Romano was chosen from more than 100 Criterium staff engineers nationwide for her professionalism, expertise and ability to communicate effectively with clients to provide solutions to their needs. A licensed Professional Engineer and New Jersey-licensed Home Inspector, she conducts home, commercial and industrial building inspections as well as environmental investigations for a range of private and corporate clients.
"Receiving this prestigious award on such an important occasion fills me with pride as I look forward to continuing to serve the Hunterdon County area with the services pioneered by Art Tauscher," says Ms. Romano.

Criterium Engineers celebrates 50 years!
Criterium Engineers, based in Portland, Maine, is the oldest and most experienced organization of building inspection engineers in North America.
